I’m so glad you’re here!
First things first, I love women’s ministry and everything it includes. I am a girls girl for God!
My heart is to encourage and equip Christian women to make an impact for the Kingdom.
My motto is… we seek it out, so we can live it out, and then we give it out.
You’ll hear those three things mentioned again and again because they are the reason for everything I do here.
We seek it out for a personal impact.
We live it out to impact those around us.
We give it out to impact generations to come.
Here on this platform I help women seek it out and live it out by encouraging them through my Seeking to Live Podcast.
Then I help women give it out by equipping them to mentor other women through Risen Mentor.
I hope you are encouraged, supported, and equipped through the things that I offer. Thank you for being here and God bless.
Women's life group leader, trained up women to lead, been the leader of women's group leaders, been sought after and asked to lead in outside organizations like Bible Study Fellowship and Women's Skills, and more.
That you would fall in love with Jesus, and that you would set your mind on the things of Jesus and become obsessed with seeking Him out.
Mentoring and Leadership. I love seeing women step into leading other women and owning their role. It holds a special place in my heart.
First, I love Jesus. (hopefully that part was obvious 😉)
The not so obvious part is that I’ve been with my high school sweetheart for 20 years, married for 16. We have two kids together, a 15 year old daughter, and an 11 year old son. I homeschool both of them, but the first few years of their schooling was in public school. We are currently in our fourth year of homeschool. My husband and I were born and raised in Southern California but we now live and raise our family in a small town in Arkansas and mostly love it.
I spend my days taking care of our home, raising my kids to love God, babysitting my nephew regularly, studying the bible and apologetics, brainstorming how to serve women, and sipping my coffee. You might also catch me yelling at my tv if a football game is on.
If you stick around, you’ll quickly realize that I’m not one of those Christians that’s going to tell you what you want to hear. I have a habit of saying things the most direct way possible, while maintaining compassion and empathy. But at the end of the day, biblical truth is not based on feelings, it is our standard and firm foundation.
I don’t like popcorn or ketchup.
I love overly obnoxious things. So the smaller something is – the cuter, and the bigger something is – the funner. Both versions are obnoxiously great!
I can lick my nose. Can you? I ask because I’m guessing you tried it after you read it.
